​GETTYSBURG COLLEGE EQUESTRIAN TEAM

Gettysburg College Equestrian Team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and the United States Eventing Association (USEA). We are a Gettysburg College club sport team which allows us to have a lot of fun!

 

Since we are a club sport, no tryouts are

necessary and we encourage all who are

interested to join (from those who have never

been on a horse to the experienced rider).

Although the equestrian discipline encompasses

individual riding, our primary goal is to unite as

a TEAM. Aside from our riding competitions,

members participate throughout the year in

team building activities such as dinners, theme nights

, service, etc. to bond as riders and to

develop and strengthen our  friendships.

Interested students will be required to join as a show member. As a competition team, our show events are scheduled from October through May, comprising of approximately eight shows during the academic year.
